Terms of use

Effective October 22, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Damobo ("we", "us") covering the Rewind app (formerly PixelFlix) and the RewindClan community.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using Rewind or RewindClan you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. You must be at least 13 years old. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

2. Your license to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Rewind on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store terms allow. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, scrape RewindClan, or use either to build a competing data service.

3. Your account

Accounts are optional. Keep your password safe; you're responsible for what happens under your account. Usernames that impersonate someone, or are offensive, may be changed or removed. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

4. Community rules

RewindClan is for people who love films and TV. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post:

• harassment, bullying, threats, or hate based on who someone is;
• sexual content, graphic violence or gore, or anything involving minors;
• spam, scams, advertising, or links to pirated films and shows;
• other people's private information;
• spoilers without a spoiler tag in places people haven't caught up;
• anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.

You can report any post, comment or person, and block anyone. Our moderators review reports within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these rules. People who break them may be suspended or banned, and club moderators can remove posts in their clubs.

5. Your content

Your library, notes and ratings are yours. Things you post in RewindClan are yours too, but by posting you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, show and distribute them in Rewind and on rewindclan.com, for as long as they're up. If you delete your account, your posts stay in their discussions shown as from a deleted account (see the privacy policy). You're responsible for what you post.

6. Rewind Plus

• Rewind Plus is offered as a yearly subscription (with a free trial for new subscribers where offered), a monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• Features labelled "coming soon" are plans, not promises, and aren't included in the price until they arrive.

7. Film data, artwork, AI and third-party services

Rewind shows information and images from third parties: TVmaze (series data, CC BY-SA 4.0), TheTVDB, Wikipedia, YouTube trailers and Apple's top-movies chart. AI features use Google Gemini. AI text can be wrong, out of date or incomplete; treat it as a suggestion. Posters, titles and logos belong to their studios and rights holders. Rewind isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, Netflix, Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb or any studio. Rights holders can email support@rewindclan.com and we'll respond promptly.

8. Changes and availability

We may change, add or remove features, and third-party services the app relies on may change or stop without notice. We'll try to keep things running, but can't promise uninterrupted service.

9. No warranty

Rewind and RewindClan are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of film data, and uninterrupted operation. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Damobo isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data, from your use of Rewind or RewindClan. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

11. Apple-specific terms

These terms are between you and Damobo, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to maintain or support it. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Damobo, not Apple, handles any claims about the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and intellectual-property claims. You confirm you're not in a country under a US government embargo and not on a US restricted-party list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

12. Ending things

You can stop anytime by deleting your account and the app. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Damobo is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to rely on its rules or bring a claim where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and we'll mention material changes in the app. Using Rewind after that means you accept the new terms.
